A pretty grateful-to-be-alive-in-21st-century girl, wannabe writer, definite serial-introspector. Discovered meditation a year back so I apologize that this blog sees too little of me now. Breathe In The Petrichor started when my high school self invested her time heavily in writing sappy poetry about unrequited love. My 21-year-old self realized that nothing is unsurvivable so heartaches aren’t motivating me to write as much anymore. This blog stays though, as a memory of when little things felt soul-crushing, and the eventual epiphany that life consists of more ambiguous, philosophical questions to be asked, mulled over, and then discarded, only to consider another day. If you’re sitting in the relative comfort of your home being able to understand this, congratulate yourself for being alive-unscathed and not-hungry in a world where billions of animals lead unimaginably uncertain lives and close to 4 billion humans don’t have access to sanitary toilets and three meals a day. By pure chance, you and I have been born in that part of the world where our worries are not worries of life and death. I was born 2 years before the turn of this millennium and might escape my mortality any day, so when you come across this blog, remember that this is me leaving a digital mark on the world saying, “Oorjita was here”
